Requires Node.js 18+. Ships as both ESM and CJS.

Python

pip install mcp-tap

Requires Python 3.9+. Zero required dependencies — uses only the standard library. For cryptographic receipt signing (AARM), install the optional extra:

pip install mcp-tap[aarm]
